Eye plastic surgery
The eyes hold an important position in terms of function and aesthetics for all people, males and females. With age, signs of aging appear in the eye and eyelid area, noting drooping eyelids, swelling in the eyelids, and accumulation of fat in the eyelids.
Sebaceous cysts: We notice the presence of sebaceous cysts in the lower or upper eyelids, either congenital or due to aging. Treatment is done through surgery by making an incision through which the skin is cut and the fat is removed, while taking care to adhere to the instructions prescribed by the doctor, and not rubbing the eye, and applying water and soap, and sleeping on the back.
Drooping eyelid (ptosis): is drooping of the upper eyelid in one or both eyes, either congenital or due to aging. It is treated through a surgical procedure by making an incision in the upper eyelid, cutting the skin, and then suturing the area with cosmetic threads. In most cases, there are no scars after 4 to 6 weeks, taking into account some instructions: do not wash the eye with water, try to sleep on your back, and use creams prescribed by the doctor.
Eyelid surgery: cosmetic surgery for both the upper and lower eyelids to achieve a more youthful appearance. This involves adjusting the size of the eye opening and tightening the lower eyelids. As a doctor, I always recommend eye cosmetic surgery in conjunction with the face and neck to achieve the best results and eliminate all wrinkles and sagging.
Is there a suitable age for the procedure?
There is no suitable age for eye cosmetic surgery. If the causes of the procedure appear in the person, surgical intervention must be performed.
Are there any contraindications for eyelid surgery?
As a plastic surgeon, I advise most people who wish to undergo eyelid surgery to coordinate their daily routine for a week after the procedure to ensure adequate rest and avoid any physical or daily activities during the first few days.
Are the results guaranteed?
Eyelid plastic surgery, like any surgical procedure, aims to achieve the maximum long-lasting result. With eye plastic surgery, the person achieves his desired results.
